Second, public education and awareness about water conservation can play a crucial role in reducing waste. Campaigns to promote water saving practices in households and industry must be massively promoted. Third, investment in better infrastructure is essential. Building efficient reservoirs and water storage systems can increase an area’s resilience to drought. Better water management also includes the need for cooperation between countries in managing transboundary water resources. Fourth, the use of information technology and analytical data is increasingly important in predicting and monitoring drought conditions. Satellite-based monitoring systems can provide real-time information on soil moisture and weather patterns, enabling stakeholders to take early preventive action. Ultimately, government policies and international cooperation are the basis for creating long-term solutions. Countries need to coordinate in providing assistance to areas most affected by drought. Through collaboration and support, we can together develop sustainable solutions to face the global drought crisis.
